National Association Finances

National Associations are the lifeblood of football across Europe. They reach from the top of the professional game (World cup, European Championships, Nations League) to the all important amateur sector, where millions of volunteers help support the status of football as the global number one sport. In more than half the cases, national association in Europe also run the top domestic championship and in all cases they operate the main domestic cup competition and national team. The centralisation of European friendly matches, introduction of Nations League and expansion of UEFA HatTrick funds are just three of the ways that NA finances have transformed in recent years.
